A boudoir session to love yourself more

A boudoir session can really be done for any reason you want. It’s for you to give yourself that uninterrupted time to really connect with who you are on a deeper level and start to appreciate the things that make you you.

Mary came to work with me at my studio because she believes all bodies are beautiful. I couldn’t agree more. As women we tend to tear each other down out of jealousy. Mary wanted to promote feeling good in her skin the way that she is right now.

As soon as she came to the studio we got to chatting as I introduced her to Kennedy my hair and makeup artist. I love this part of the process because nine times out of ten ladies I photograph are nervous when they first arrive for their boudoir session. And that’s understandable. I’ve been preparing you leading up to your shoot so you know what to wear and what to expect but most ladies have never done this before so there’s still a little bit of the unexpected. But hair and makeup and talking and laughing with Kennedy definitely helps ease the nerves so when you’re ready to put on your first outfit is seems a lot less scary!

Kennedy and I both want you to feel as if we have known each other for years. One of the biggest compliments we get very often is how comfortable we made you feel and how easy it was to be around us. An inviting, comfortable, fun, sexy experience is what we’re going for and we want you to leave the studio after your boudoir session feeling like the queen that you are!

Mary said that her boudoir session was so glamorous. She was posing easily with my guidance and the poses were making her FEEL sexier and stronger. I showed her a few images along the way on the back of my camera and she was floored at how beautiful she looked. Her feeling of confidence, sexiness, and empowerment were shining through in the photos and she was making that connection again between her mind, soul, AND her body. The music kept playing and the camera fell away and Mary just got into the zone. She says it wasn’t the makeup, it wasn’t the lingerie, Amber had shown me ME!

I LOVE THAT! Mary says that you need to do a boudoir shoot because you love yourself and you deserve it! Show your body the love it craves – plan a date with yourself. Let Amber show you your glow!

Imagine, you walk into my studio (located in Aberdeen, Wa) completely freaked out.  I mean, even though we've been talking and I've been preparing you this isn't something you've ever done before!
So you sit down in my stylist's chair as she starts to go over hair and makeup looks with you.  As she begins you start to feel at ease.  We decide which outfit you're going to start with and start posing!  The music is playing and soon the camera falls away, you're just feeling it!  I show you a few shots on the back of my camera and you're floored!  That's me?!  But you say it in a way as if that confidence has always been there, we just needed to pull it out of you.
That is why I do what I do!  To watch you transform from unsure into the powerful, amazing, confident woman that you are!  You just needed a little boost.  And I'm here to give that to you.
